Paint Loader
Position Summary:
Loads cabinets, kits and components onto the automatic paint conveyor line to ensure optimum coverage of finish. Pulls parts according to request made by the assembly lines.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Load product within a warehouse facility.
- Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within or between storage facilities.
- Meet productivity standards and complete work in timely manner.
- Perform basic housekeeping in assigned areas of warehouse
- Adhere to all safety procedures/standards within the course of performing job duties.
- Conduct inventory check with accuracy and promptness.
- Keep jobs together
- Properly tag jobs
- Hang parts using proper equipment provided
- Inspect for any defects
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills; Good computer skills. Operation monitoring, quality control analysis, critical thinking, active listening, troubleshooting, complex problem solving, equipment maintenance and reading comprehension.
Abilities: Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints; Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion; Ability to apply principles of logical thinking of a wide range of practical problems; Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.

Physical Demands: While performing duties of this job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls. Work might entail significant time spent standing, exposure to extreme temperatures, enduring distracting/uncomfortable sounds and noise levels, as well as exposure to potentially hazardous conditions and equipment. Must periodically lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Employee may be required to climb stairs as needed to access various areas of the building. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
